Experts, please help me pick a Pocket PC Phone. Maybe helpful for me start with my simple requirements:

- Compatible with TomTom Navigator 5.
- Compatible with Holux GPSlim 236.
- FM radio.
- MP3.
- Camera / Video camera.
- Bluetooth, WiFi, USB2.0.
- Speaker phone.
- Decent battery.
- Play various formats of videos.

Miscellenous: Quite recent, good firmware support, not slow and faulty out of the box. Don't care about the slide keyboard.

Though my budget is around $1000 to $1500, but I really expect quality product in return to my hard-earned cash.

I've been looking around and have been considering:

- O2 XDA Atom.
- i-Mate JAMin.
- The HP ones, eg. RWXXXX or the HWXXX.

About the HP ones, I really don't know anything about them, if you someone is kind enough to shed some light I will really appreciate it. Any recommendations of other units are welcome.

Thank you in advanced

The E-TEN M600+ has all of that, except for the FM radio. Its only about 575. Then you could give the other half of the 1,000 to me :-P

Well i would suggest the ETEN M600+ or the HP 6828.... but the M600 is a lil faster than the HP coz of its 400 Mhz samsung processor.... but doesnt have FM radio....

Doesnt have EDGE.... whereas the HP one does (i think it does). though u wont find the HP device in the US that easily... as it is mainly for the Asian market...

both the devices dont have a slide out keyboard....

Hello,

I'm a happy new ETen M600+ owner and I'm just beginning to learn my way around it. It's about (within a millimeter or so) the same size as my Treo 650 excluding the antenna. So far, it's really impressive. The included Voice Commander is a real benefit and works with the in-the-box wired headset really well. A friend who has one says his Cardo Scala 500 BT headset works very well with it and requires very little setup.

I'd recommend the M600+ to anyone hunting a Quad-Band, WM 5.0, WiFi phone. With 256mb ROM and 64mb SDRAM, it's pretty much of a powerhouse. The 320x240 screen is bright and clear and will run in either portrait or landscape mode equally well. It'll be great for watching movies on long flights.

My $0.02,

Bill

Try to avoid cross-posting, if possible. It makes thread tracking a tad confusing.

I answered your query in the other thread: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=412781#412781
