Owners of Dell Axim x50v / x51v Pocket PC's, this is certainly something you may want to check out.

PocketGBA has always been the best Game Boy Advance (one of the most sold handheld consoles) emulator. The previous version has been released some days ago (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=864&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1) and now, only some hours ago, 2700G support has been added.

I've tested the 2700G-enabled version with the Japanese version of Mario Kart Advance (a great racing game - for Pocket PC users, it's still better to stick to MicroCircuit from viex (http://www.viex.org/index.php?page=microcircuit) - that game runs much better on the Pocket PC than any emulated Mario Kart cartridges) and it has proved to be significantly more playable than the software-only version.

There're some minor glitches (nothing really problematic) with the 2700G-enabled version; for example, the on-screen buttons can't be seen. If you, however, remember where they should be (in the software-only video rendering mode, they are shown), you can safely use them.

To acquire the new version, do the following:

Get the original, non-accelerated version from here (http://www.sunbug.net/products/emul/PocketGBA.html). Unpack it to any directory on your handheld / a memory card.
Get the accelerated version from here (http://www.sunbug.net/files/down_auth.html?dummy=13044). Unpack PocketGBA_2700g.exe to the same directory as the non-accelerated version. Tap it to start.

Now, click the Video icon (the icon in the center on the left) and click "Use 2700G accel." so that it changes to "ON" as can be seen in this screenshot (http://www.winmobiletech.com/kuvat/PGBA-2700g-video.bmp.png). Now, you can freely Load (the Load icon), and, then, run (the Run icon) Game Boy Advance ROM's.

Note that you shouldn't expect miracles from the new version. ROM's will be as pixelizated as before. Heavy graphics stuff like scrolling will be, on the other hand, considerably faster.
