I have a Dell Axim x51v, which is NOT a PPC Phone Edition.

It has wifi and I can get a wireless connection to the internet at my workplace.

I went into messaging and setup my ISP account for POP3 email. It seemed to work fine. I can send a test message, and receive that same test message.

However, the next time I select send/receive, that previously downloaded test message disappears from my Inbox. It's not in Deleted Items either.

I haven't found any option setting that would seem to relate to this. Is it a bug with WM5? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any input. I'd really like to get this working.

I was hoping someone might know something about this or have experienced it before or something.

So, I'm updating it, hoping it just got lost in the fray and someone will notice it this time.

Thanks - Patty

Does your ISP handle POP3 the same way as Gmail - that is, it seemingly removes them from the POP3 inbox after accessing them? This is why they aren't seen upon subsequent access. This is a very common problem with Messaging users and, because Gmail is buggy and can't be confiigured, can only be helped with PPC e-mail clients that also list already-removed-from-online mail; for example, Qmail.
