Hi all! I have seen many software for the registry hack, but nothing with official compatibility with WM5 device.
Anyone can suggest me a soft registry hack that work without problems on WM5 device (Qtek s200)???
Before I used, with satisfaction, the resco registry addin, but now, using SBP Pocket Plus, I'm using the extensions for the system file explorer so I havent reinstalled the resco explorer suite... and now I'm without a valid registry hack!

Thanks in advance and.... have a nice dayyyyyyyyyy!

A lot of the registry editors in the market are compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0.

Resco Explorer remains as one of the best registry editors around. Alternatively, there is Vidya Pocket Registry Editor (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=10590), among others.

As Darius, I'd recommend Resco the most.

Alternatively, I'd also have a look at the PHM registry editor. You may want to read this registry editor roundup (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/menneisyys/UltimateRoundupOfRegistryEditors.asp).

Thank you very much! :D
I have used Resco Explorer and Resco Registry addin until few days ago (with great satisfaction), on my ipaq hx2795 device that It has a lot of memory. Now I'm using a Qtek S200 and the main memory isnt so big and I'm trying to save main memory because I'm already using SPB Pocket Plus with his file explorer plugin... If I'd also install Resco Explorer I'd have a duplicate of functionality... and unfortunately, the Resco registry addin doesnt work without Resco Explorer... sigh sigh!!!!!!

Thanks!

Resco File Explorer is MUCH more capable than the File Explorer plug-in of Spb Pocket Plus.

I would recommend Mobile Registry Editor.
Its freeware and allows you to edit your registry from your PC through the Active Synch connection. Much easier on a big screen with a full size keyboard.

Note that MRE can't modify anything "protected" under WM5, unlike, say, Resco or PHM. That is, it's almost useless for WM5 (unlike with previous OS'es).

Thanks to all!
In the end I have reinstalled Resco Explorer and his Resco Registry hack!
I'm trying to gain memory with other type of choice... instead install SPB Pocket Plus and SPB Diary and SPB Wheather, I have installed iLauncher, PocketBreeze and Pocket Weather and so I was able to add the Resco suite.
So, I'm testing all and I'll hope in a right end.
But... what do you think on this configuration?
Thanks in advance to all!

iLauncher is definitely a better choice under WM5 dynamic (program) memory usage-wise than Spb Pocket Plus. It consumes about 1Mbyte less memory.

Thank you very much... I'm many convinced about the choice that I have done... I'm testing all on my Qtek S200 and I'm very glad.
Thank for your support :)
