Wireless connect to a network computer by ip address

Im trying to connect to a computer on my network through the wireless on my pda. I have an ip adress of the computer on the network and wanted to know if there was any way to search for a computer by ip adress. I tried IE but it didnt work. ON my pc i just use the run funcion. Does PPC have an equvilent.

There are a couple of software that can do this - I believe Resco Explorer has a built in network browser. There are a few more.

Have you tried just connecting directly via File Explorer?
