Dopod818 Pro WIFI

Hi guys,

Im a noob to PPC. Currently using a Dopod818Pro, heard from the sales personnel that this handphone has the ability to connect w/ WIFI. Not much idea on how to connect using the WIFI, can anyone enlighten me on this please?

You treat it just like you would a laptop or PC running wifi. If you have a wireless network at home, with a standard configuration, it's pretty painless connecting.

thanks for the reply. so am i right to say that I just need somewhere with a wireless internet connection and all I hafta do is to on my Wifi on my PDa and it'll auto detect and connect? Do i need to add any configuration in my PDA?

Almost...but just like any laptop, you'd need the security key to access protected networks. Be aware that there are limitations, like no network browsing unless you get 3rd party software.
