Hi.

Can i somehow disable the "long or short press" detection from my RX3715 hardware keys?

You know the functin that allows to have two programs under one key. It's a nice function but too often it messes up other programs keys.

Can i totally turn it off somehow?

Thanks.

Although my pda is WM5, I'm pretty sure the method is the same.

Start - Settings - Buttons

Select the button you want to change (in this case it would most likely be - Hold Button __). Then choose 'None' in the "Assign a program section".

See if that works.

Nope, didnt do the job.

I think it doens't disable the virtual -hold button, as I can still see it on for example OpenJazz setup.

Short press: 0xC1
Hold press: 0xC6

I misunderstood. You want to disable it on the Registry level. That information requires deeper knowledge than I've got. Sorry. :(

I'm almost certain though that someone here can help you!

This may help (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=463&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1). Hope you'll be able to use it on the rx too.
