Additional details are expected to surface next week.

That does seem to be a pretty impressive upgrade, but I don't know that more ROM is really necessary, though it can always be put to good use (instead of NEEDING the SD card).
There is one upgrade that would be even more impressive. That upgrade would be providing more RAM than the normal 64mb in most WM5 devices.

I thought the more RAM you get the more power your PPC sucks out of your battery (even on a WM5 device). I think there are a lot of articles that are out there already that explains this. It does make sense to put more ROM instead for file storage.

I think I found my next device. But again, rw6828 is pretty good too and it offers HP quality.

Mor ROM is actually very nice. Since WM5 disconects Storage Card when in suspend, all applications installed on storage card crash after turning the device on again (same thing happens with files opened on storage card).
In case of FlexMail for instance this can lead to corruption of mail database and losing mails.
So more ROM would help in this regard a lot.

The M600 has always had Wi-Fi, though no EDGE. I don't think we'll see an EDGE device from E-TEN until next quarter.

Nah, I don't think waiting would have made a difference. You should know by now that there's always a better device around the corner. Even if you waited for the Reloaded, a more powerful device would be released in half a year. That's the way technology works. ;)

No idea. It's rumoured that prices will be revealed next week, so it's now a waiting game more than anything else.

Yeah, the M500 and M550 don't have Wi-Fi, or the new GPS-equipped G500 for that matter.

Edge. It needs Edge. If it had Edge, dedicated softkeys, 802.11g, and Bluetooth 2.0, I'd be all over it.
Those are the four areas where the current M600 suffers, compared to the JAMin, imo.

Well, it's got Bluetooth 2.0 anyway. Is one out of four enough? :)
