Such is the case with a trio of WiBro-capable PDAs being marketed under the Flyvo brand by POSDATA, all of which run Windows CE 5.0 Professional Plus on an ARM processor and let you get your 'net on with WiFi as well in case you have to travel outside of Korea."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/wey-20060523-POSDATAWiBro.jpg" /><br /><br />So, what do we have here? A set of new PDAs with 512MB/1GB RAM - two with T-DMB and VoIP capabilities, and one with GPS. Alas, no Windows Mobile 5.0, but regardless, what is it with Korea always getting the cool gadgets? ;)

At least its ARM based, which means a lot of WM software will work on it. It probably has a lot more capable IE based browser built in also (isnt it equivalent to IE 5.5?).

No so much of a joke... Korea really IS a test market for the big Korean electronics manufacturers. There's a decent market for high end stuff and the they get to work out all the technical bugs before they turn the technology on the rest of the world. Same thing happens in Japan. Sony's already on their third gen blueray products in Japan. How much you wanna bet that this means the first gen blueray products in the rest of the world are going to have less bugs and implementation problems because of this?

Why do they make thumbboards like that? They got the 2nd and 3rd row perfectly aligned, but the 1st row is thrown off completely...
