View Full Version : Back Broke?

Anyone else notice that the <Back> option to the previous "view" has possibly been broken for a while... at least in Mozilla/Firefox

While hitting the <Back> button takes you back to the top of the previous page and the page loads, the browser ends up stuck on

"waiting for thoughtsmedia.us.intellitxt.com"

...which (apparently) prevents the <Back> process from continuing to move to your previous place on that page where you clicked a link... i.e. you have to scroll and find the article you were reading again.

I notice that this happens at the end of every page load, including the page where I am currently composing this message. My suspicion is that the code normally calls this url with an argument, but the final one doesn't get an argument so it fails ungracefully.

"waiting for thoughtsmedia.us.intellitxt.com"

Somthing was changed... for the first time in a long time, the main ppct page finished with a "done" ...but didn't return to the article, so, was apparently not related.... as Gilda used to say "never mind"

From the title of your post, I thought you were asking about the mountain in that recent movie. :-)

I thought she might be asking us for a medical diagnosis.

Bev's a guy. ;)

BTW, Bev, I've never had this problem, but I rarely "back" onto the middle of a page (using tabs for that instead). Mozilla/FF have had a history of being pretty bad about "remembering" the location on a complex page, whether or not the IntelliTXT stuff is there. They've slowly been making it better, but they still do have some work to do.
