I currently have a T-Mobile MDA Vario and i wanted to create mt own graphic templates to use when i was taking picture from the phone

I created a GIF file with a transparent section in it so u could see the picture in the graphic.

I transfered it on to my MDA Vario and placed it in the templates folder but when i turned on the camera and looked through the graphic templates the one i created never showed up, only the default ones did.

Is there anything u need to do to be able to use ur own graphics?

Thanks in advance

It appears that the templates are 4-frame animated gifs - not standard gifs at all. At least, that's the way mine are formated (FSC PL720), though since the camera software is virtually identical it's a good bet that the format is the same. You'll need a animated gif editor to make your own.

still cant get it to work

I opened up flash, imported the GIF i created, spread it over 4 frames then exported it as an animated GIF with (transparency selected) then tried it on the phone and its still not showing up when i search through the templates when using the camera

any other suggestions

I would suggest you examine the samples you already have first - as far as I could see, none of them have transparency set. They use black instead.
