I've had a little of everything installed from all categories except Time Management Software at one time or another. Pocket Outlook suits my time management needs.

The weirdest thing on my devices now is probably Pocket Theremin.

Heh. Interestingly, I've just whipped up a quick list of the software I want to have, if and when I ever do a reinstall.

First, we have the essentials...
TomTom - Satnav program. One of the main reasons I got it!
TCPMP - Media player. Best one I've found, nice small footprint, lots of options.
XNView - Picture viewer. Lots of options, most importantly does full screen!
Sprite Backup - Since the included backup software sucks
Supercalendar - Since the included calendar also sucks!

Optional extras - nice to have, but not essential
Syntact Snails - Worms clone, for the pocket PC. Not bad!
Hexacto Slurp - More advanced version of Jawbreaker; girlfriend's addicted!
Opera - Giving it a try at the moment, got the beta. Not used it enough to decide yet!

Trying to get a replacement for...
Adobe Reader - works, but is far too slow, and a resource hog. Need something better for reading pdf eBooks!
