Trying to come up with home phone solutions

I'm looking for a phone solution for my new home.
So far it seems I've whittled my options down to
Skype, Vonage, and Comcast voice.

My thinking is that they all probably offer the same
basic services like voice mail via email.

Price wise they're probably as I listed them in ascending order.
Though I haven 't calculated skypes total offering.

I'm curious as to what kind of phone solutions have set up for
their homes.

Why did you choose it and whats your hardware set up?
