MS Reader Activation Problems NEED HELP PLEASE.

Hi all. I've recently downloaded and installed both the Notebook and PocketPC version of MS Reader, I signed in with my Passport activated the Notebook version but when I tried to activate my Pocket PC I got this error message [connected to the notebook via USB and synced with AS4.1 as a partner]:
You have an older version of Pocket PC which does not support Activation. Activation requires Pocket PC 2002 or later.

I have a dopod 838 AKU2.0 which is a WM5 device so this struck me as very odd. Have sent an email to MS but haven't received any help yet so I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience and if they know of a workaround. Thanks in advanced.

I honestly don't remember the answer because I don't have WM5, but there are many, MANY threads about this here already. You might want to do a search on "activation" in the e-book section, or other sections too.
