so i got sick of wm5 and all its problems and decided to revert back to 2003se and now my device just shuts off in the middle of the restore and loses usb connection! any ideas or do i have a lemon?

Are you trying to restore your device from a Windows Mobile 5.0 backup? If so, it's going to choke because you're dealing with two different versions of the platform.

nope. well finally restored it to 2003se now after 3482974 tries. this was a useless thread. you or another mod can feel free to delete it. =)

Nope, it's worth keeping for reference - just in case someone else has the same issue, they'll know to try the restore process 3482974 times as a possible solution. :lol:

What!? I threw mine away after 3,482,973 tries...
