I have a dead 4150...won't turn on, no charging light when plugged in, does not respond to soft reset or hard reset, the works.
It happened after I was attempting to soft reset after the unit froze during use. The reset stuck in a loop...iPAQ logo screen, then white screen, then blink, then iPAQ logo screen...etc.
I set it to one side in an attempt to see if it would just stop. I came back the next morning and the screen was dark. I can't remember if I tried to turn it on then, but I'm sure I plugged it into the charger several hours later. I left it in the charger...even though there was no light anywhere on the unit...for a couple of days (I was at work, things were busy).
I did a search in this forum and I found some topics that partially applied to this situation. I was wondering if there was a general series of steps I should take to attempt to restore the unit. Or if I should even try? It seems as though it is beyond recovery.
Thanks in advance.
