Well, I've got a hp ipaq 4100 for ages, however, I find it rather out-dated; so I wanna ask if there's any method in upgrading it, e.g. upgrade it as a window mobile, etc;

also I would like to ask if there is any methods in changing its portrait mode into landscape mode?

Besides, as I'm a mac user, is there any way in syn my ppc to my mac? I mean at least I can transfer the pocketword into my mac;

Last but not least, as I'm still a student, I wonder if there're any good software in jotting notes n organizing stuff? Plz help me n I'm looking forward to all of your favorable replies!!!

Welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts.

Unfortunately, no. Windows Mobile upgrades are released by the manufacturer, and HP never released an OS upgrade for the h4100 series.

also I would like to ask if there is any methods in changing its portrait mode into landscape mode?

Yes, there are applications out there that do this (e.g. Nyditot, or dotPocket). However, note that because Windows Mobile 2003 (the OS you are running) does not natively support landscape mode, some elements of the user interface may not adjust correctly when you use Nyditot or dotPocket to switch display modes.

Besides, as I'm a mac user, is there any way in syn my ppc to my mac? I mean at least I can transfer the pocketword into my mac;

Yes, you can try PocketMac (http://www.pocketmac.net/) or The Missing Sync. (http://www.markspace.com/)

Last but not least, as I'm still a student, I wonder if there're any good software in jotting notes n organizing stuff? Plz help me n I'm looking forward to all of your favorable replies!!!

You might like PhatPad and PhatNotes. Visit PhatWare (http://www.phatware.com/) for a look.
