Essentials for the O2 Atom

Hey guys,

New here, and the proud owner of a new O2 Atom. Previously I've had a range of PPCs and Smartphones, but this is really in a league of it's own. SOOOO nice.

So, I was wondering whether all you seasoned PPC users could help me out.

What are essential progs/games/apps that I should install on this baby. Links would be great too.

The Atom certainly is a great device. If you haven't already, check to see if you are running the latest ROM. If you aren't, you can download the latest from here (http://www.seeo2.com/user/XdaAtom/template/XdaAtom_HFROMUpgrade_Feb2006_IMV.vm) and use it to update your device.

On top of that, the Camera Patch (http://www.seeo2.com/user/XdaAtom/template/XdaAtom_CameraPatchEN_Mar2006.vm) is definitely worth applying.

Now, back to the topic, check out this front-page thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45353) on people's "must-have" applications. Definitely worth a read.
