Update ppc internet explorer

Hi,

Who can help me, i want to updat my internet explorer on my Dell axim with pocket Pc2003 but i can't find the update's who can tell me where i can find them.

You can't update just PIE. You would have to update the complete operating system. PIE is integrated into the OS and the OS is ROM based.
Any OS updates would, legally, have to be obtained through Dell.

Alternatives to PIE include (but not limited to) Netfront, Opera and Minimo. These can be purchased or downloaded, and installed separately from PIE and the OS.

What AXIM and What OS are you currently running?

My Dell is a Axim X5 and the software is version 4.20.1081 (build 13100)

The Dell X5 doesn't have any ROM/OS upgrades beyond WM2003 - the version you have. Sorry, not even hacks.

If PIE does not work for what you need, the most complete browser for WM2003 is the NetFront Browser by Access.

I use it regularly, supports JAVA, Flash, Multiple windows, fit-to-screen, etc

You can also try the opera for pocket pc(though it is in beta stage ATM)

I didn't think that Opera supported Flash and Java.

Am I wrong? I like Opera security features but Netfront 3.3 supports all of them now, also in Beta. Actually 3.2 supported them as well I belive.

Try Minimo - if you are using or have used Firefox, you are gonna like this little app. It's basically a slimmed down version for the Pocket PC. Beware; however, because it is 9 MBs- i have installed it on my SD. Takes a little longer to load but overall its a pretty good free app.
