SPB Pocket Plus is upgraded is 3.1.1. Fixes a memory leak and a couple of other things. (I had suspected a memory leak, but didn't have the time or patience to troubleshoot what app was causing the problem - hopefully this was the only one on my device at the moment.)

SPB Backup is upgraded to 1.1.2. Fixes a Contacts issue.

The battery time calculation fix is another welcome change. Many people had issues with it in v3.1.

Is anyone experiencing any problems with their backlight settings since this SPB Pocket Plus upgrade? No matter how many times I change my backlight setting (on battery) fromn 10 sec to any other value, it turns back to 10 sec. I've read somewhere that SPB Pocket Plus is causing this.

(I'm using T-Mobile MDA)

I had this same issue on my Acer n311 although found that if I disabled the system password then the backlight remained at the value I set. Can you try disabling the password and let me know if this works or not?

I don't have a system password set. But it seems like it turns back to 10 sec. after it locks the keys.

You have a Phone Edition then? It sounds like the same issue then as it when there is a lock enabled. Can you disable this key lock mechanism and see if the backlight still reverts back to 10 secs?

Yes, as soon as I turn the keypad lock on, it goes back to 10 secs. Does it have anything to do with SPB? Or is this a known issue on Win Mobile 5.0?

I'm not sure if it is definitely Pocket Plus however that seems to be a common factor here and a fresh Pocket PC without any installs seems to work fine so it isn't Windows Mobile 5 on its own although it may still be a contributing factor.
