Is this unusual?

I am running Pocket Informant (latest version, which is supposdly ((spelling is horrendus this morning))), WM5 compatabile. Also running PocketBreeze (latest version as well) and Suduko.

Even trying to change screens, say from the Today screen to the Programs menu, it takes a few seconds longer then usual.

Just curious if this is the norm, or is there a setting I have not set :)

While I don't have a direct device to device comparison (i.e. the same device upgraded from 2003se to WM5), I have noticed that things in WM5 are generally slower than wm2003se. I attribute this to WM5 using flashROM instead of the speedier RAM for program storage. So, I'm guessing that it's probably expected. I've also heard that it depends on what kind of flashROM a device has. (eg. The X51v has the faster FlashROM while the x50v supposedly has the slower flashROM.) Just my personal observations and past reading.

I was wondering if there is/was a speed differance from going to ROM from RAM. Could be the culprit :)

The same notorious filesys.exe problem as on WM5 x50v. (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=112194)
