Hi...this is my second time switching to ppc. On the palm TX you have the option to switch the calc from finance to scientific to unit conversions, etc.

Can someone direct me to an app that does the same thing?

TIA

TIAUnfortunately the default calculator on PPC's is downright useless.
Google for 3rd party solutions like Calc98 and others that are less utilitarian.

Also try AceIT and RealCalculator. (Both free)

Yep, those are good ideas. If for some reason, you just need a calculator occasionally, and your PocketPC is on the Internet, you may not know that Google has a built-in calculator. Seriously! Try typing "1 pound in kilograms" right into the regular search box. (Then try "the answer to life the universe and everything." :) )

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'm a realtor so I need a calculator on a daily basis.

Calc98 looks like my best option and I'll download it today.

Thanks for the help.
