Hey,

I just got back from Sri Lanka! It was a great trip. Anyways......

I'm wondering if you can use internet anywhere using this modem thing

i found on Pocket PC mag. Do you have to be at home and hook it up to

your phone cord? Is there any way you can use internet anywhere?

"Modem thing"? Mind sharing more details.

A dial-up modem will allow you to connect to the internet by dialing in and connecting to the ISP. Of course, you'll need to establish a dial-up account with the ISP first, and also bear in mind that it will keep your line busy, unlike an ADSL connection.
