I'm about to switch phones and am going to get one that lets me use a bluetooth headset. Any recommendations?

Also, has anyone seen any info about the relative amount of RF energy you are exposed with when using a bluetooth headset compared to holding the phone directly to your ear? I'm not really that worried about it, but it seems to me that if I can "turn down the heat" I might save myself a few brain cells, and (as you all know) I just don't have any to spare!

FWIW, I have had a couple of 'over-the-ear' designs of BT headset, most recently the Jabra BT250v and though the sound quality was good (with my Xda2s/ SX66 / PDA2k yada, yada...), I always struggled in the summer when I needed to wear sunglasses as well as the headset: There just isn't enough space between my ear and my skull for two bits of wire or plastic. I've just (yesterday!) got a Nextlink Bluespoon AX which fits in my ear, and (so far) it's great. The sound is a little tinny, but quite clear, and the people at the other end of the call report that my voice comes through loud and clear.

I can't speak to the RF energy, but my gut feel - based on the 10m range - is that it is pretty low. Certainly a lot lower than having your 'phone against your ear.

I had good luck with the Logitech Bluetooth headsets myself. Try them out, Logitech has excellent warranty and product support. When my Logitech mouse quit on me one day, they gave me a new one as a replacement free of charge without any hassle.
