In versions prior to WM 5 you could change the storage memory / program memory ratio.

This appears to be removed in WM 5. As I have a 2Gb miniSD card in my device, I do not need as much storage memory but could definitely use more program memory. Is there a way to change this (perhaps through a registry edit?) ?

The reason there's no slider for your memory is that there are 2 types of memory on your PDA, each with its own purpose. To the best of my knowledge, this is not possible due to the change in memory architecture in WM5. Prior versions of Windows Mobile had program and storage memory in the same pool: your 128 MB of RAM was used both for storing files, like a ahrd drive on a PC, and for executing files, like RAM on a PC. WM5 uses the non-volatile ROM memory to store files, like a hard drive on a PC, and uses RAM to exectute files, like RAM on a PC. This is a welcome change for many, as it is more intuitive to PC users that RAM is RAM, and is used for what it's designed for.
