losing completed tasks on PDA after sync

How do I keep my completed tasks from disappearing from the PDA after a sync? They're on the PC, but I like to keep at least 6 weeks on the PDA for reference

Which version of ActiveSync do you have? The following is available in v3.8, not sure about other versions: On the desktop side, go into Tools > Options. On the Sync Options tab, select Tasks, then click Settings.... The default here is "Synchronize only incomplete tasks." Try changing to "Synchronize only the" and put 6 in for "past weeks..." Hopefully that's what you need.
