Cannot create partnership after upgrading to WM5

I have just upgraded to WM5 for my iPAQ hx4700. Activesync just keep "connecting" but there is no setup page for creating new partnership. Having read other post that I have added MAC address of my iPAQ into trusted device list of Trend firewall and even switched off Trend and using Windows firewall still not success to create any partnership. Please help.

First of all you'll have to install Activesync 4.1 if you haven't already. Then the partnership process is a little different with WM5. Instead of letting you choose a device name Activesync uses the name found in the About applet under the Device ID tab. So change the Device name to what you want before you begin to create the partnership.
