Virtual Pool Mobile (http://www.celeris.com/games/VPMobile/overview.html), probably the most spectacular billiard game for the Pocket PC, has just been updated to support WM5, VGA and, what is more, the Intel 2700g graphics co-processor in the Dell Axim x50v/x51v.
I've tested the game on the latter (an x51v). It's indeed spectacular and has almost no 3D rendering-related bugs. The trial version of the game is indeed worth a try if you have an x50v/x51v.
Too bad there's no multiplayer in the game at all - that's the only thing really missing from it. That is, if you want to play friends, you need to go for either Mobirate Billiard Master 2 (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=510&pc=list%5B7%5D_title&platformId=2&N=96806&productId=64325&R=64325) or i-mate Pool Multiplayer (http://www.handango.com//PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&optionId=1_2_2&platformId=2&siteId=510&productId=172053&sectionId=0&catalog=30&pc=list%5B19%5D_title). Please see The Definitive Multiplayer PPC Game Roundup (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/menneisyys/102005MPPPCGames.asp) for a review of these two games.
