AM/PM Indicators On The Titlebar Clock

I used the following registry hack to get the AM/PM indicators on the Titlebar Clock but discovered a little side effect/issue:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides]
Create String: S1159 (Value = Am)
Create String: S2359 (Value = Pm)
Create String: STFmt (Value = h:mm tM)

Now, the AM/PM indicators found in the Clock Settings display as A7 and P7 instead of AM/PM. In the alarm settings it shows as A1 and P1. :(

Any idea why, and how to fix this (while still keeping AM/PM in the Titlebar Clock)?

No, but it's certainly interesting. I avoid that by putting my regional settings on 24-hour display. Makes things easier, anyway. Very weird...
