Hey all,
I just got a Raz and was wondering if I can connect to the internet with my ipaq 2215 bluetooth and Cingular MediaNet service on my razr. Anyone know how to do this?

It would be cool to have a setup so I just turn on the 2215 and surf.

I had this setup with my razr and axim for a while. Heres the settings I used on the axim:

Connection Name: whatever you want i named mine wap.cingular
Modem: bluetooth dialup modem
Phone number: *99***1# (turn dialing rules off)
Username: [email protected] (case sensitive)
Password: CINGULAR1 (case sensitive)
**click advanced tab**
Baud rate: whatever i use 19200
uncheck wait for dial tone before dialing
Extra dial string: +CGDCONT=1,"ip","WAP.CINGULAR" (case sensitive and that is an O not a zero)
All other settings leave default (port settings, TCP/IP, Servers)

Make sure you turn bluetooth on the razr, set it to discoverable, and then take your pda and pair to the razr. You'll have to just double-tap the bluetooth connection on the pda each time you'd like to turn on the connection. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

TonyR, you are the MAN! I loaded it exactly as posted and it worked - it's slower then molasses at 19200, but it's better than trying to use my phone. Thanks a bunch!
