I didn't really want my new customer to ask me to choose/buy the PDAs for them... :(

I need 6 x PocketPCs for use in a hospital, it's a small database entry system for maintaining equipment.

Personally I've got and used:
HP HX4700 PocketPC
Dell Axim X50v PocketPC

Pricewise I'd have thought the HX4700 and X50v would be overkill for what they are going to be used for so I'm just looking for suggestions as to a good reliable brand/model (under 300 UK pounds each) that I could purchase for them.

Many thanks

Fedorov.

I don't know whether they sell them in the UK, but the iPAQ rx1950 looks like a good model to choose. They go for $300 here in the US.

I don't think the rx1950 has the memory to run any kind of database - not even just a front end. Try a step up to the hx2490.

Budget was 300 UK pounds or below.

Thanks for the replies so far everyone, I've still got plenty of time to make a decision so the more suggestions the better :)

Appreciated.
