When I'm using my Pocket PC in the office, I normally turn the sound off so as not to disturb others when I am busy. I use the Power Alert feature of Battery Pack though to ensure notications will still be heard in case I forget to turn the sound back up. I find this a much needed feature on my PPC and want to know if others have a similar requirement and how they go about it. Basically, Power Alert will overide the system volume setting with what you decide i.e. mine is set to enable sound and escalate for 3 repeats so if a notification is going to fire and the sound is turned down or off then Powr Alert will overide this and ensure I am made aware of the appointment, reminder or even morning alarm!
