Deploying Smart Device Appliction and correct Icon

Hi all,

I have written a Smart Device application in VB.NET 2003 for my PocketPC 2003 2nd.

When I install the application to the PocketPC via a CAB file, an Icon is placed in the \Windows\Program folder. This icon only fills the top left-hand corner of the icon of the alloccated room for the icon, the rest is filled up with random 'noise'.

It seems that the icon is too small for the \Windows\Program folder, but when I place the shortcut in the start menu it shows OK (but of course as a smaller Icon.

Is there a way to fix this? - Use a larger Icon or a milti res icon?

Any help is welcome.

when using windows icon some show up fine when they are small but if you change them to large icons they show black areas etc.

here are the formats that will work fine on the handhelds:

16*16 with 16 colours, and a 16*16/32*32 with 256 colours
is what accepted on the devices.
