hey, I'm new to this site and to PDAs! So anyway I heard that bluetooth takes some battery life off the PDA and so I'm wondering if there's any universal keyboard that isn't wireless and can work with my Axim X30!

The battery hit from using bluetooth is so low that it's really not worth mentioning.

Yeah, you're talking a few minutes per hour of battery life. And no, there are no universal keyboards that aren't wireless. They're all either Bluetooth or infrared.

You could get a PDA with USB host - in which case any old computer keyboard will work for you.
