new to ppc

I just bought a ppc and would like to to convert dvds to my ppc. I have read several forums on this and I am still a little confused. I have tried before to do this but it seems as if 99% of dvds are copy righted and I can not figure out how to rip them to my hard drive. If there is anyone out there that know's how to do this please help.

First off, welcome to our forums. :-)

There are two ways to do what you want: free and time-consuming/complex, and buying a program that does it all for you. Since it sounds like this is something you're new at, I think a program like this is what you want:
