I just made the below article at Brighthand. I want to share it with you too.
Last night I was playing around with Metrix (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=20430) free edition v1.0b3 A app to display matrics of your system.
It is very configurable. The default looks like the below.

But you can choose what has to be displayed and where on the screen. The following can be displayed:
1. Battery
2. Program memory
3. Store Memory
4. Storage card
5. Brightness, works not on all devices
6. Memory manager
The statusbars can be located on X,Y coordinates, and you can change the height and width of the bars, as you can see in the below. You can also change the X,Y location of the icons.

If you change settings of just one icon you have the option to apply those settings to all, or to all "visible" from the "Tools" menu

You also have an "autoarrange" Without the "autoarrange" you can move the all over the screen.
The other settings which are available you can see in the below screenshot
http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/7210/metrix33sg.jpg
1. Themes is changing the color of the bar. Colors are:blue, red, green and desert
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/6323/metrix54ue.jpg
2. Settings the above setting screen
3. Autoarrange, see the above
4. Lock indicators on fixed position
5. Show setting icon(yellow icon on the right)
6. Today settings, a shortcut to Today plugins instead of using start, settings, today.
7. The usual "About"
Basically all the icons are shortcuts, linking to the standard apps. Clicking on them will open those.
At the moment my bars looks like the below. The adjustable bar is the memory Manager.

If you gonna make use of this app, it would be nice if you would share your statusbar layout like I did too. Instead of the whole screen:D
You can download the nice and free app from HERE (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=20430)
