Have any of you seen a program that provides easy to access ACLS algorithms for code situations? Thanks.

Have you tried Pocket Reference for ALS Providers? (http://www.skyscape.com/estore/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductId=1646)

And I should add that ACLS situations are ones you should know off the top of it head.

It looks really bad floundering on a PPC in real-life during a medical emergency

You're right, I should. It seems like I just learned the old algorithms (I'm still a student in Pharmacy school) and now they're being updated. I'll get them down though. Thanks for the recommendation.

yes, ACLS should be off the top of your head but the truth is that unless you're an ER or ICU specialist, you don't use it every day. Heck, even an experienced ER doc I know will pull out the cheat sheet towards the end of an unsuccessful code to make sure there are no asterisk points/fine print he has missed.

Anyway, it sucks from a pharm standpoint, but epocrates includes ACLS tables if you more than the free version. What I do is keep the official AHA cheat sheet in my lab coat. There are ACLS apps out there but 1.) I don't trust someone elses life with them and 2.) they're always outdated.

Finally, I don't think the new guidelines are even published yet (offically).

P.S. if anyone out there wants to partner up and write such an app that contains minimal data but needs to be updated every several months, drop me a line.
