Hi!
I was looking for a good 2GB SD Card for my iPAQ hx4700.
After some research I decided RIDATA 2GB PRO 150x should be ok.
While copying large file in desktop Card Reader it shows 5mb/s constant transfer rate.
But... Card Benchmark in Pocket Mechanic shows:
Read: 0.14 MB/s (1.1x)
Write: 0.05 MB/s (0.4x)
Fat32, sectors per cluster: 8, cluster size: 4096
I have tested several different file system options (fat16, fat32, cluster size etc.). Doesn't help much.
My question:
Should i try full (low level?) format of the SD card?
I've done only quick formats until now.
Is there a difference if I format it in my card reader or directly in iPAQ?
What could be the cause of this slow benchmark results?
Possible solutions ?
Thanks in advance.
