How to Sync Outlook 2003 Notes to storage card using Activsync

I have a Ipaq rx3115 with Windows Mobile 2003 SE and use Outlook 2003 on my PC. When I sync using Activsync the Notes store in the main memory of my PDA vs. the storage card (SD) using up precious memory. How can I make it so they sync back and forth between my PC and the storage card?
