View Full Version : any idea how to shut down calendar screen saver (hx4700)

Hi all,

I am trying to shut down (for now) the calendar screen saver that seems to go on after about 10 minutes of inactivity. I have altered every setting I could find.

This is annoying because when my RSS program is downloading pages, it goes on after 10 min and my RSS download stops.

Any help appreciated.

God I hate this feature now.

I FOUND IT! WEEEEE.

It's called DOCKWARE for anyone else wondering. I just brought up the menu while it was running (did not know there was one) and shut it down.

The world is mine!!!!!!

Hi,

Glad you figured out how to turn DockWare off.

If you wanted to keep it running, however, you could always add the RSS software to DockWare's Blocklist. This list prevents dockware from running if certain programs are being used. It is a nice feature for GPS software, for instance, which is often running on external power but nothing 'active' is going on on-screen.
