2795 & activesync 4.1

I am using AS 4.1 & outlook 2003. have reinstalled both several times to no avail. works fine on my desktop but not on my laptop (wireless). using USB on both. get error 85010014.

checked the network connetions while ipaq was connected and both seemed to match.

AS connnects but just will not sync.

HP tells me to go back to outlook 2002, they don't support 2003 , therfor they can't tell me why it works on one and not the other.

If there is a setting on my laptop that I am missing I just can't find it.

I did have a status code on the ipaq that said somthing about not having permission thru microsoft exchange server??.

Try turning off ALL connections to the internet. Disconnect ethernet cables, turn off wifi.

Try that first - you should be in complete stand alone mode - as if the internet never existed.

Give that a shot and work you way up...you'll find it...I did.
