I've evaluated SPB Pocket Plus and decided it uses too much resources for my device, an HP 6315, and my needs.

I only need the ability to close programs with the X instead of minimizing them and the ability to switch between programs. An unrelated feature I'm looking for that Pocket Plus had was a hardware mapped screen toggle button. Does anyone have any recommendations for a lightweight, reliable program like this that can install to a storage card?

I'm considering HandyMenu and HandySwitcher, but I would like to know about other options before purchasing.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

WA2 has a lot of functionality, fairly small footprint, and rock solid code. It is the first app I install (in SafeStore) on my i730. I have tried the freeware apps below (which are pretty good) but I always end up with WA2

Freeware alternatives:
- Magic Button:

- vBar:

To map task closer to hardware button, check out ZapIt (freeware but hard to find on the web, check out this thread):
