View Full Version : Backing up PIM data manually?

I want to backup my PIM data (contacts, calendar, notes) without buying a backup program.
I was hoping I could just copy a file or files to my storage card. And then if anything goes wrong while travelling I can hard reset and manually copy those file or files to relevant place.
Is this possible? What files would I copy?

I don't believe this is possible - PIM data is kept in hidden databases, which aren't accessible through standard file explorers (even third party ones).

I'm well aware of the Phatware program. But since it's not free either, nosajeel might as well buy a full backup program rather than a highly specialised one like db explorer. Since his criteria is freeware, then what he wants to do is largely not possible.
