This new device is reportedly based on the same O2 XDA Atom design that many of you are familiar with already. You'll find that the HP <a href="http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Home.jsp?&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=215348&prodSeriesId=1839223&lang=en&cc=us">rw6828 support page</a> is actually up already at HP's US support site, so it may only be a short time before this launches. (<b>Post-Edit</b>: I may have spoken too soon as it appears that this support page may have been taken down)<br /><br />You can probably expect the following specifications (based on the O2 XDA Atom): Windows Mobile 5, Intel PXA272 416MHz CPU, 64MB RAM/128MB ROM, 2.7" QVGA display, 2mpx camera, Tri-Band GSM (my guess will be 850 support instead of 900), WiFi 802.11b, Bluetooth, mini-SD slot, FM radio.

It was said originally (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45679) that the device would support quad-band. I wonder if that still stands. :?

If it's not a silly question, why 802.11b rather than 802.11g for the WiFi?

That might be right. I was basing my conjecture based on the current specs I've seen for the Atom outside the US.

Strangely enough, it looks like HP has taken down their support page...
