HELP storage card documents are missing.

I went to get a file off my storage card today, and theres nothing there.
I put it in a card reader, and opened it in my computer, and even though it shows that 480mb is used, the only fime is one called ignore_my_docs
I've looked around, and I cant fine a way to fix it short of formatting, which I really don't want to do.
Does anyone know whats going on here????

Could it be hidden?

On the Pocket PC, open File Explorer, tap-and-hold on an empty space, and select View All Files.

Alternatively, on the computer, open it up in My Computer, select Tools > Folder Options > View > Hidden files and folders > Show hidden files and folders.

Does the file appear?

I tried that, and the only file that appears is ignore_my_docs

You're the victim of a corrupted FAT - you'll need some data recovery tools to get your files back. Read this thread for some solutions:

Ok thanks all.
I used recover my data, and got back what I needed.
I was hapomg to just get the whole card to work again without recovery software but oh well.
Anyone know what causes this, and how I can avoid it in the future?
