Stereo sound with headphones?

on my old pda's, the hp 1910 and treo 650, all of my mp3's and movies would come out of both earpeices on my headphones using a convertor since i'm using standard headphones. with the 6700 the sound only comes out of one earpeice. does anyone have any ideas on why this is or any resolution? thanks!

It's due to a different audio pin-out configuration on the PPC-6700. You'll need a special adapter such as this one (http://www.pocketpctechs.com/main~unit~Sprint_PPC-6700-506~area~accessories~item~PPCPADPT15.htm) by Pocket PC Techs.
