PPC6700 not receiving SMS message?

I'm having problem receiving long SMS messages. Thus far, this is only a problem when the sender is AT&T Wireless (Sprint and T-Mobile work ok).

By long message I mean the sender sends a message longer than 160 characters, and thus the message is broken up into more than 1. What happens to PPC6700 is that the first message is truncated to only 1 single square. And the 2nd message is fine. This was not a problem with my old Samsung i600.

Anyone else have this problem?

I tried to page another PPC6700 from ATT wireless phone and got the same problem. I've also confirmed that the same problem does not occur when paging to Samsung i500 and i600.

I'm pretty convinced that this is a problem on PPC6700. Appreciate any insights on how to get Sprint to fix this.
