I received a couple of USB vehicle power adapters with another purchase on eBay. I'd like to charge my new XV6700 with one of these adapters, but how do I know if the power rating matches up? I don't want to wreck my brand new device, as you can imagine.

Thanks.

Anything with 5V and between 500mA and 2A should work fine. Make sure it doesn't stray too far from these specs - but a USB charger will by definition give 5V anyway, and a minimum of 500mA.

Many thanks, hishamh. Now, a second question if I may...I found another USB adapter in that box from eBay. This one says, "Output: 12Vdc, 400mA, 3.6W (MAX)". This sounds like it might overpower my Pocket PC.

Thanks again.

Blow it up more like! What kind of adaptor is this anyway? That's way off from what a USB port should give.

The second adapter plugs into an AC outlet...sorry...I forgot to mention that. It says, "Model NO: AC08". No brand identification on it though.

Thanks.
