{Joke} Looking for some ware-ez as in some software-easy-to-use :D
Details:
PPC-6700
1 Gb-MiniSD
I'm thinking about picking up WebIS Mail but thought... Before I bang the buck I should ask around.
I need a mail client that will store all of my email (not just attachments) on my MiniSD card. Will IS Mail do that? Do you guys think there's a better client out there.
To be clear here I'm not looking for warez but I am looking for something intuitive customizable and just an all around terrific product in the eyes of those who use/review such things.
Thanks,
Rex

According to the WebIS site:
"Mail storage on an SD or CF card (this is slower however)"
So it would seem so. Download the free trial and take it for a spin:

{COUGH!!!}
Boy! I feel silly. Man I feel really silly.
Well, you know that's why I got a membership here to make things easier. But ummmm that's still embarassing.
Thanks for the tip Mr. Dunn :) P.S. glad you got PPC back from the air plane. With what we pay for these things I'd have to have a funeral for my PPC if I ever lost it.
Okay, well let me see here. I think I'll uhhh go and uhhh get the trial.

Not what's publicly available, anyway. :) Rest assured, WebIS is working hard to get a Windows Mobile 5.0 version out the door. I can't give an ETA, but I can't imagine it being too much longer.

I was thinking about getting WebIS Mail when I got one of those Handango discount codes, but I couldn't justify spending even a smaller amount of money on it when I realized that it just doesn't do much that Pocket Inbox doesn't already do.
It does have the coveted "check ALL accounts" button, but I don't want to pay just for that. I wasn't really aware of the card storage issue, although I did read at the WebIS site that it scans its entire database every time it starts up, and for storage card users this can be very slow.
I just want a spam filter! Why doesn't WebIS add that? And why, oh why, doesn't Pocket SpamFilter support SSL (read: Gmail)!!???

You know... I was able to get the inside-only copy of the program by asking very nicely. It is not stable yet but it is close enough for me as I can stuff all my mail on my storage card. It has a lot of other little perks I really like so for me when it goes public I will be buying it up. I do not need much in a mail client but it actually has quite a bit to want. In my mind it is the ez-ware I was looking for. When I say ez-ware it should be configurable and customizable this product is. Way more options than MS Outlook could hope for.
