I don't know if these issues are related but
(a) is anyone having an issue with their i-mate K-JAM deciding for no reason to do a soft reset? Every now and then, my K-JAM seems to come out of standby and reset itself.
(b) of course, when it does that, it needs to reacquire the GSM signal. I have a PIN number protecting access and if, for example, I don't put it in within a reasonable time (say, I'm away from my desk when it happens) then I need to do another soft reset before it will acquire the signal again.
I'm much more worried about the soft ad-hoc soft resetting - if I can stop that I can stop the issue with reacquiring the GSM carrier.
Any ideas????
